Well, here I am again—dipping my toes back into the blogging world. I’ve had a few blogs in my day, tried it out, but life always had other plans. Eight moves. Four states. And now, finally, back home. I don’t even know if people read blogs anymore, to be honest. But I love writing. It’s an outlet, a way to share pieces of my life in this little corner of the internet.
So, if you don’t know me—hey, I’m Corinne. Jesus-believing, wife, and mom of three earth side, with six waiting for me in heaven. We’re planting roots in Northwest Indiana, where I juggle a little bit of everything—helping with our family business, working as an Account Executive for Real Video Productions (our second family business), and, most recently, jumping into the world of skincare because, well… why not?
We live in a 1950s home a few blocks from the town square about 45 minutes outside of Chicago. You’d think buying a flipped house would mean less work, right? Ha. Not quite. Turns out, there’s a lot to learn when buying one (and believe me, I have). Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing some hard-earned lessons soon in a blog post on what to ask, what to check, and what to avoid.
What can you expect here you may ask? Honestly… I’m not entirely sure. But I can tell you what you won’t see—you won’t find perfectly curated photos or carefully staged moments. Sure, I love noticing the beauty in everyday life, but I’m not going out of my way to create a picture-perfect scene just to make it look like I have it all together. I don’t. And let’s be real—none of us do. I think more than ever, people are craving authenticity, and that’s what you’ll find here. Just real life, as it comes.
So, welcome! I’m happy you’re here. Let’s do life together—one story, one lesson, and one cozy home project at a time.
